Hi, Salam; Thanks!
The first time I started designing t-shirts was back in 2018 when three of my friends and I embarked on a project. Our main goal was to convey our thoughts and messages to people through the medium of t-shirts. As the designer of the team, I created a collection of six designs. We carefully selected fabric colors, produced a limited quantity of t-shirts, and then silk-screen printed our designs on them.
To showcase our work, we organized a small exhibition at a coffee shop owned by one of our friends. It was an exciting and fulfilling experience, although unfortunately, the project didn’t continue beyond that point. However, a few years later, I found myself drawn back into the world of t-shirt designing and production, this time taking on the endeavor alone.
The two designs presented here are from that initial collection. Both designs aim to foster a connection among people from different nationalities. The first one is called “Hi-Salam” featuring the word “Hello” in various languages, symbolizing the beginning of a conversation. The second design, titled “Thanks” showcases words of gratitude and appreciation in different languages, which can be the foundation of friendship. These words are cleverly arranged to form the shape of a tree, a powerful symbol of friendship and growth, flourishing under the shade of peace.
